298 &299/365

I took this past week off from taking pictures. It was my week back after fall break and I needed to take some time off from my camera.

I took these on Friday at George's house.

He LOVES airplanes. He can just hear one and he is eyes to the sky. He has just spotted one:

This is a series of pictures I like to call, Let's Scare Lincoln. Before you start thinking were are big jerkfaces, don't worry, it is his favorite game. He loves when we run away from him and hide and when he finds us, we jump out. Here George is playing with him. He was putting his shoes in front of George and then when he would go back to pick them up, George would startle him and he would grab his shoes and run for it. So much fun!:

290-292/365 My Little Pumpkin Pie

We got our Halloween pictures taken today!!! Lincoln was in a really good mood all day. I think it is b/c he slept until almost 9 this morning. We were going to go to the Zoo Boo today, but decided to wait until tomorrow.

Lincoln and Grant on the swings while I set up the pumpkins:

Lincoln in his awesome pumpkin hat that Grammy made for him:

It was tough to get the shot above b/c he immediately wanted to get up and run for the reflector! I took like three shots and this is the only one that he was actually sitting and looking at his pumpkin. The other two are of him getting up. I didn't have to worry about it though, b/c I saw that one and knew I got the shot I wanted!

Anyway, he really likes my reflector:

Grandpa George's grass is really tall! You can barely see his little pumpkin sitting there! LOL:

I got to practice using my reflector and backlighting today! I used the reflector on the pumpkin picture. This picture I over exposed so his face would be exposed:

Such a glamorous prop, no? He found this ball in the yard and loved walking around with it. It kept him occupied so that I could get some pictures, so who am I to complain?

The light was coming from his right and was pretty bright. He sat down next to this tree which shaded him, but I still got some awesome catchlights in his eyes from the reflection off the grass.:

After we were finished, Grant grabbed one of the big pumpkins and carried it back toward the house. Lincoln saw him and went running for the other big pumpkin to try to help! It was so darn cute! He was so determined to help daddy take those pumpkins inside. I swapped him for his little pumpkin. He carried it all the way across the yard, dropping it a few times along the way, but making it to the house. Once we got to the patio, I tried to take it from him and he was just not having it! He had seen daddy take the pumpkin inside and that is what he was going to do too!

He made it inside and ended up putting it in the laundry basket. God, I love my kid.:

Here we are yesterday. Grant was playing his guitar for Lincoln, and of course Stincs had to help him do that too.:

Snack time! He loves to carry around an apple.:

On Friday, we were playing with our reflections in the mirror.:

287/365 Autumn Love

We went to go visit Grandpa George, only he wasn't home. Boo! Oh well, we had a good time playing in the back yard and visiting Kacia and Clayton!

Throwing a peace sign. Political statement?:

He wanted to sit on the swing:

Uh oh! He found the fire pit with all those awesome sticks!:

He then wanted me to put him on top of the play set, but there is no slide or ladder, so that idea was out.:

We played Hide N Go Seek behind the trees a bit.:

286/365 Out the Window

285/365 Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today. We had a lot of fun. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures b/c my camera battery died while we were in the corn maze and I decided to just call it a day with the picture taking. It was kind of nice just playing with Lincoln and not worrying about getting a good picture.

He really loved all the hay and the corn fields!
