Let's Play at the Park!

The weather has been so nice we decided to get out and enjoy it! We haven't been to the park since labor day when Linc was only 14 months old. Man, what a difference 4 months makes! He was much more interested in all the park had to offer, and man is he brave. He had so much fun exploring all of the awesome equipment.

The light was really awesome too!

His face when we first got to the equipment:

He walked up the steps of the slide all by himself and got to the top to check it out:

He held on for a second:

Letting go was totally worth it!:

And then he did about 100 more times!

He liked to try it on his belly too!

He was having a good time leaning back and looking at the sky:

He liked crawling over and under all the ropes:

We had to stop to put his shoe back on him. I signed cold at him and he signed back doing his tough guy arm flex.

Me!:

Once his shoe was back on he took off across the playground. We tried to call him back and the little turd just kept going.

So, Grant said, "Bye Lincoln, Daddy is leaving!" and pretended to walk away. That got him turned around really quickly! He came running back, yelling at daddy:

When we first got to the park he walked across the bridge and when it came to going down on the other side, he wasn't prepared and fell. Right before we left he tried it again, being really careful to hold on and go slowly down the other side. He did it! Look at how proud he was of himself. When he got off he clapped for himself too:

Well, Hello There Sun!

The weather has been pretty warm (for January) so we decided to take a little stroll outside before nap time.

365/365 I Made It!

We made it!!! 365 days of photos! It makes me kind of sad, really. I don't think I will be doing another 365 this year. I need a break! However, I will still be taking pictures and posting them. I just won't be such a slave to my camera. The whole point of the 365 project was to improve my photography, and while I don't know if I'm better, I feel more comfortable shooting in different lighting situations and using my speedlight.

So here is my final picture! We recreated the first picture of the year, right down to the baby legs! I know, I know, he is a little old for them now, but he made sure that he didn't keep them on for long:

Here is a side by side of Day 1 and Day 365. Look how much my guy has changed:

He wasn't very happy about this picture:
