We went to the apple orchard yesterday! We went around the same time last year, so I did a quick side by side comparison of then and now. This was taken in relatively the same spot:
Grant put a hazelnut in his pocket and he was trying to find it!:
Here it is!!!!:
We thought these trees were really pretty so we decided to stroll among them. Little did we know, they were chestnut trees. Chestnuts are encased in these cactus-like shells. They are super sharp and hurt like all heck. Of course they were all over the ground, but luckily Linc didn't fall and get stuck by them. However, before I realized how painful they were I plopped my butt down to get some pictures. OUCH!
We decided to grab the Stinc Bug and get out of there:
We made our way over to the apple trees and Lincoln was in heaven! He LOVES apples and he couldn't get over the fact that they were all over the ground just waiting to be picked up and eaten. He would pick up one apple, fall in love with it, taking big bites, and then see another one that he liked better.
He liked to go stand underneath the trees to enjoy his tasty treasures:
Chowing down!:
This is from tonight! Yes, more with the teeth brushing. Have I ever mentioned that Lincoln knows how to sign "brush your teeth"? It isn't the ASL sign (I don't think) but one that we made up (it is just the tooth brushing motion up by his mouth). We are currently trying to teach him food/eat.
He was trying to put away his tooth brush in the toilet paper roll. LOL:
